Iron shackles used on enslaved African people prior to 1860. Men, Women and children packed on slave ships. Enslaved people were sold to the person who bid the most money and family members were often split up. Slaves picked cotton and tobacco. Listen to the chains that slaves wore so they wouldn't escape.
