Show Notes
In this episode, we explore how many of the identities we carry were formed during seasons of survival. When life requires us to push through pressure, uncertainty, or emotional stress, we often adapt by becoming the responsible one, the strong one, the fixer, or the person who holds everything together.
These identities are not mistakes, they are adaptations that helped us navigate difficult seasons of life. But over time, the patterns that helped us survive can begin to disconnect us from who we truly are.
Releasing survival-mode identity isn’t about rejecting your past. It’s about recognizing when the version of you that once protected you is no longer necessary for the life you’re building now.
In this episode, we explore:
- What survival mode actually looks like in everyday life
- The identities many people build in order to cope and stay safe
- How survival patterns can become part of our personality
- The moment awareness begins to shift identity
- What it looks like to evolve into a version of yourself rooted in alignment rather than survival
You’re not wrong for becoming who you needed to be. But you may not need to stay that version of yourself forever.
