Show Notes
Binge eating is something many women quietly struggle with, yet it’s rarely talked about openly.
In this episode, we sit down with binge eating coach Nan Saysana to talk about why binge eating happens, the shame that often surrounds it, and what healing can actually look like.
Nan shares her personal journey of struggling with binge eating for over 30 years while appearing disciplined on the outside. Today, she helps women break the binge–restrict cycle and rebuild a more peaceful relationship with food.
We explore the difference between binge eating and overeating, why cravings and urges can feel so intense, and how both mindset and physiology can influence our relationship with food.
In this episode we cover:
• Why binge eating is more common than many women realize
• The binge–restrict cycle and why it keeps women stuck
• How blood sugar swings and under-eating can intensify food urges
• Emotional eating and the role emotions play in our food choices
If you’ve ever felt stuck in the cycle of restriction, cravings, and guilt around food, this episode will remind you that healing is possible.
