What did God leave out of the Bible?

That simple question—shared on a note and discussed on an episode of We Get To Do This with Adam Curry and Pastor Jimmy Pruitt—sparked a much deeper conversation. As Christians, we often focus on what we wish Scripture would tell us: what Jesus wrote in the dirt, what Paul’s thorn in the flesh really was, what happened during the silent years of Jesus’ life, and countless other unanswered questions. But what if those omissions weren’t accidental? What if God intentionally chose not to reveal certain things?

In this episode of Randy Unscripted, Randy explores the mysteries Scripture leaves unsolved and examines what those omissions teach us about God’s purpose, wisdom, and the sufficiency of His Word. Along the way, he considers why faith sometimes requires us to be comfortable with mystery, why humility matters when interpreting Scripture, and why trusting God’s revelation is more important than satisfying our curiosity. The Bible may not answer every question we can ask, but it provides everything we need to know God, follow Christ, and live faithfully.
